Academic Respirologist with Advanced training in Lung Transplant

Description:

Alberta Health Services, Department of Medicine, in conjunction with the University of Calgary invites applications for a full-time academic respirologist with expertise in Lung Transplant and demonstrated academic research expertise.

75% clinical service in lung transplant and pulmonary hypertension ambulatory and inpatient service, including ambulatory care, bone marrow transplant pulmonary clinic, pulmonary function test interpretation, hospital inpatient and consultation (including weekend and weeknight call), bronchoscopy, right heart catheterization and other procedures.

10% administrative work in the areas of EDI and Physician wellness, as well as quality improvement in the PH clinics

10% of time will be spent in academic pursuits within the Divisions of transplant and Respirology and Department of Medicine (Research) and the Cumming School of Medicine. 

5% of time will be in education

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Respirology team in Calgary, utilizing strong collaborative skills to support and contribute to the overall clinical, research and education mission of the Section.
