Description:
The Department of Medicine, University of Calgary in conjunction with Alberta Health Services (AHS) invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) adult endocrinologist with special focus in high-risk thyroid cancer care.
The selected applicant will provide high-risk thyroid cancer care at the Arthur Childs Comprehensive Cancer Centre
Clinical 90%
· Outpatient clinics
o 50% general endocrine (including low risk osteoporosis, thy nodules and diabetes consultations)
o 50% Thyroid Cancer Specialty Care
· Inpatient call: 2-4 weeks
· Specialist link: 2 weeks
· Central access & triage: 2 weeks
Education 10%
· The selected applicant is expected to engage in clinical and non-clinical teaching of trainees at all levels (medical students, residents, endocrinology fellows); teaching activities include the completion of all necessary evaluations (EPAs, ITERs etc).
· This applicant will also provide Academic Half Days and participate in the City-Wide Grand Round series

Qualifications:
The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
