Qualifications:
Applicants must be a qualified MD or equivalent, with specialist certification in Anesthesiology and enhanced, supplementary training in pain medicine and more specifically Transitional Pain. The applicant must be eligible for licensure in the Province of Alberta for independent anesthesia care.
The successful Candidate will have their FRCPC in Anesthesiology; have demonstrated ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team; superior interpersonal communication skills; and a strong commitment to delivering innovative care.
Experience in Quality Improvement/Assurance is required.
Candidates with established background in research, quality assurance and/or teaching are preferred.
Desired competencies include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Advanced Life Support.
The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta, and must read, write and speak English.
