Calgary Chronic Pain - Family Medicine Physician

The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine, Alberta Health Services Calgary, invites applications for a virtual physician in the Calgary Chronic Pain Centre.  This position is a 0.2 FTE and the starting date will be Oct 1, 2026.

The Calgary Chronic Pain Centre provides interdisciplinary pain care, chronic pain and transitional pain. The work expectations are to provide care in an interdisciplinary model, follow the processes of the Calgary Chronic Pain Program, reporting as per the recording practices at the Calgary Chronic Pain Program, attend physician meetings monthly, participate in educational activities (in both presentation and audience roles), participate in program development and evaluation, and participate in research activity.

The applicant will have training and certification in providing virtual group care in the areas of Mindfulness and Pain Reprocessing Therapy. Three years experience in delivering these programs is a requirement. The applicant will have experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting.
