Job Description:
Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
Conduct comprehensive physical examinations
Order diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging) and review interpreted results to guide clinical decision-making
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor outcomes
Provide preventive care, including:
Immunizations
Cancer screenings
Chronic disease counselling
Lifestyle and health promotion
See walk-in patients and address urgent care needs as part of daily responsibilities
Maintain clear, accurate records using the EMR
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Support clinic operations through billing accuracy, policy adherence, and active participation in quality improvement
Engage in continuing medical education and professional development
Qualifications:
Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA
Eligible for registration and licensure with the CPSA under the Practice Readiness Assessment or Provisional Register (as applicable)
Demonstrated commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered care across all age groups
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical decision-making skills
Willingness to work in both scheduled appointments and walk-in care settings
Comfortable practicing in a collaborative team environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with medical guidelines and best practices
