Job Description:
Patient care: Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions. This involves conducting physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests when necessary, and prescribing medications or treatments.
Preventive care and health promotion: Focus on preventive measures, such as administering vaccinations, conducting health screenings, and offering lifestyle counseling to help patients maintain good health and prevent diseases.
Continuity of care: Build and maintain long-term relationships with patients, ensuring the provision of continuous and coordinated care. This includes managing patient medical records, tracking their medical histories, and addressing ongoing health concerns.
Collaboration and referral management: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic, such as nurses, specialists, and allied health providers, to provide comprehensive care. Coordinate referrals to specialists when needed, ensuring seamless transitions and appropriate follow-up care.
Patient education: Educate patients about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures. Offer guidance on managing chronic diseases, making lifestyle changes, and addressing their health concerns effectively.
Clinic operations: Adhere to documentation and billing requirements, as well as the policies and procedures set out by the clinic.
Professional development: Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including attending medical conferences, pursuing continuing medical education opportunities, and staying updated with the latest medical advancements and guidelines.
