Job Description:

Cor Medical Centre is a well-established, patient-centered family medicine clinic located on the main floor of the Poplar Centre at 5504 Macleod Trail SW, Unit 170, Calgary, AB T2H 0J5, conveniently near Chinook Centre. With excellent accessibility from all parts of the city, ample parking (including wheelchair-accessible underground options), and a supportive environment, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate primary care to our diverse community in Calgary.


Our clinic currently hosts multiple family physicians and has capacity for additional providers. We emphasize comprehensive, personalized care in a collaborative setting, with access to on-site services and community resources.

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician (General Practitioner) to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including preventive care, acute illness management, chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, mental health), and health promotion.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose conditions, prescribe medications and treatments, and develop individualized care plans.
Offer counselling and support on a wide range of health, lifestyle, and wellness issues.
Coordinate care with specialists, allied health professionals, and community services as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with CPSA and clinic standards.
Participate in clinic quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.

 

Qualifications:

Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA

Certification with the College of Family Physicians.
Expertise and commitment to quality care and patient safety.
Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Eligible to work in Canada (Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or valid work permit holders).
