Job Description:
Examine patients and assess their health, diagnose and treat illness and injuries.
Prescribe medications and treatment.
Monitor and manage chronic diseases.
Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices
Refer patients t specialist when needed.
keep accurate and up to date medical records .
Work with other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA.
- Doctor of medicine (MD) or equivalent medical degree.
- Eligible to bill Alberta health
- Certification in Family Medicine (CCFP) or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team based healthcare environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care.
