Job Description:
The Family Physician provides comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to individuals of all ages. The physician is responsible for diagnosing, managing, and coordinating healthcare for acute illnesses, chronic diseases, preventive health, and wellness needs. Care is delivered in accordance with CPSA standards, Alberta Health billing rules, and evidence-based clinical guidelines.
Qualifications:
Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA. Certification in Family Medicine: CCFP or eligibility for an Independent Practice or Provisional License with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
Eligibility for registration with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
Good standing with all regulatory bodies
Experience in primary care is an asset but not required
