This position is a COMMUNITY position and is NOT part of Alberta Health Services.
Job Description:
Two of our Family Physicians left family practice entirely. Most of their patients are still looking for a new family doctor, and are currently waiting for new physicians to join our practice so that they can continue to be patients at this clinic. New incoming doctors will be assigned to these panels. One of the physicians who has left had a panel of 2463 patients, while the other physician had a panel of 2031 patients. There are many new patients in our area who are looking for family physicians.
Qualifications:
CPSA approved.
Community Information:
Royal Oak Medical Clinic provides services to NW Calgary and surrounding urban areas for twenty years, with approximately 16816 patients in panel, as well as approximately 37525 visits in the past year. Our clinic provides services to all age groups, from infants to the elderly. Alongside longitudinal family practice, our clinic also offers patients access to minor medical procedures. Our clinic provides services to our community six days a week (Monday to Saturday)
These positions will not be required to practice after-hours, as Royal Oak Medical Clinic is associated with Foothills PCN, which provides coverage after-hours at the Access 365 Clinic.
