Job Description:
Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders
Planning, supervision, interpretation, and reporting of diagnostic imaging studies to advance the medical and surgical care of patients referred to us.
Collaborate effectively with a team of accomplished medical professionals, including technologists, nurses, medical office assistants, Radiologists.
Cultivate strong patient relationships through effective communication, empathy, and a patient-centric approach.
Conduct general body ultrasound; MSK, breast, obstetrical, and vascular ultrasound.
Image-guided MSK and basic spine procedures for pain management, under both fluoroscopy and ultrasound as applicable.
Order X-rays and other diagnostic procedures
Coordinate care with other medical professionals;
Consult with the team as needed, attend meetings as requested.
Qualifications:
Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA
A medical degree from an approved faculty of medicine listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools is required;
Must hold or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA);
