Covenant Health is seeking Family Physicians in good standing with CPSA, and has privileges with AHS, who are interested in expanding their scope by providing medical care within a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. This opportunity allows physicians to maintain their independent outpatient practice while adding a rewarding LTC panel that offers continuity, stability, and meaningful relationship-centered care for seniors. Our LTC site offers a highly supportive environment with strong interdisciplinary collaboration, predictable scheduling, and streamlined workflows that integrate well with community family practice.

Administrative support for onboarding, documentation, and scheduling.
Orientation and mentorship available for physicians new to LTC.
Responsibilities
Provide longitudinal medical care to an assigned panel of LTC residents.
Conduct regular assessments, medication reviews, and care planning rounds.
Participate in family meetings and interdisciplinary case conferences.
Ensure timely documentation in accordance with LTC standards.
Provide on-call or after-hours support within an agreed rotation (if applicable).

Required:
MD or equivalent.
Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
CCFP or equivalent.
Interest in geriatric medicine or long-term care (training and support available)
