Responsibilities/Duties
The clinic offers access to a well-resourced interdisciplinary primary care team, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, social workers, a dietician, a respiratory therapist, and an in-house pharmacist for teaching. Nurse practitioners also manage patient panels in parallel. On-site laboratory and X-ray are available. Clinic operations are fully computerized with the launch of Connect Care. Other co-located programs at EEHC include Public Health Services and the Community Perinatal Program.
This is a combined clinical practice and teaching environment and successful candidates will be encouraged to hold clinical appointments in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry. Successful candidates will also be expected to become members of the North Edmonton Primary Care Network.

Qualifications
We are particularly interested in candidates who have superior interpersonal skills with a demonstrated commitment to teamwork and peer relationships. The successful candidate should be committed to fulfilling clinical and non-clinical duties as a representative of Family Medicine.
The successful candidate must currently be certified with the College of Family Physicians of Canada and have medical licensure in the province of Alberta. This position is NOT eligible for AHS sponsorship of a College of Physicians and Surgeons Practice Readiness Assessment.
