General Internal Medicine Specialist Grey Nuns Community Hospital 26-GNCH-MED-GIM-04

Covenant Health, in partnership with Alberta Health Services and the University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, Department of Medicine, are inviting applications for a General Internist to join a dynamic medical team at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital.

In collaboration with their colleagues, the successful candidate will deliver inpatient care and outpatient services to hospital patients. Ideally, the candidate will also be able to provide outpatient General Internal Medicine (GIM) or similar specialist follow-up, as needed, for patients discharged from the Clinical Teaching Unit (CTU). There is also an opportunity to work in the pre-operative GIM clinic. The position will participate in the program’s on-call inpatient schedule.

The successful candidate will be required to participate in the teaching program and will be encouraged to apply for a Clinical Faculty appointment in the Department of Medicine, University of Alberta, which will be considered under a separate process through the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry.
