Alberta Health Services - North Zone, and the community of Peace River are currently looking to recruit a General Surgeon Visiting Specialist to work alongside the local physicians and provide services in General Surgery. The ideal candidate will visit the community approximately 1 day per month.
The successful candidate is required to offer services within the Peace River Community Health Centre.
This position will fall under the Alberta Surgical Initiative and will require the selected candidate to sign a Visiting Specialist contract rendering their services.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Current Alberta Practice Permit to practice in the advertised position (proof of to be included with application).
- Have certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification (RCPSC).
