The community of High Prairie is currently looking to recruit a General Surgeon Visiting Specialist, to work alongside the
local physicians and provide services in Endoscopy consults and procedures. The ideal candidate will visit this community approximately 4 times per month, 2 days per visit.
This position will require the selected candidate to sign a Visiting Specialist contract rendering their services.
Qualifications
• Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
• Must be licensed as a specialist in General Surgery per CPSA standards, with experience performing endoscopies.
• Membership in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
Candidate must have hands-on experience offering endoscopy services within the past 1-2 years.
Experience offering these services as a sole provider is required.
Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) to be included with application.
