Cancer Care Alberta, Community Oncology, invites applications for a full-time Hematologist specializing in Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies. The successful candidate will become a member of a multidisciplinary cancer program located at the Central Alberta Cancer Centre in Red Deer, Alberta, and will join a team of Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Nurse Practitioners, and medical support staff serving the Central Zone.
This position is based at the Central Alberta Cancer Centre in Red Deer, Alberta, and will provide malignant hematology services as part of the malignant hematology program's commitment to patients across the Central Zone.
Responsibilities will include participation in ambulatory clinics and involvement in local and provincial tumour team activities, including clinical case reviews, tumour board rounds, annual provincial tumour team meetings, and local quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications include an MD and FRCPC (or equivalent) with training in Hematology. Additional training in Malignant Hematology or a subspecialty within Malignant Hematology would be considered an asset. Successful applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
