Alberta Health Services in partnership with The University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine, invites applications for a Locum Endocrinologist to be based at the University of Alberta Hospital (UAH) and Kaye Edmonton Clinic, both located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Responsibilities:
Adult Endocrinologist with familiarity with Connect Care to provide locum coverage for up to 4 clinics per month for general endocrinology or NAOP osteoporosis clinics at the KEC clinic. Position also includes the need to provide endocrine consult service and triage/urgent clinic coverage as needed by the Endocrine Division. There may be a need to potentially provide virtual patient follow-up clinics as needed; resident and student clinical teaching as needed to accommodate learners on the Endocrine service; Didactic lectures may be requested to cover classroom teaching; on-call coverage and triage/urgent clinics may be required, etc.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have an MD degree, or equivalent and be certified in Endocrinology with the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada.
