The University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, in partnership with Alberta Health Services (AHS) invites applications for an interventional cardiologist of any academic level to join as a full-time tenured track faculty within the Division of Pediatric Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Alberta.
Position Responsibilities:
• Clinical Excellence: clinical service would include cardiac catheterization laboratory services and general pediatric cardiology care, including inpatient cardiac ward or consultative services and general pediatric cardiology outpatient clinics.
• Education and Mentorship: teaching expectations would include mentoring of cardiology residents and interventional cardiology fellows, formative and bedside teaching.
• Collaboration and Engagement: work closely with other programs, interdisciplinary teams, and healthcare professionals to advance Pediatric Cardiology care and the education of Pediatric Cardiology trainees.
Qualifications:
Interested applicants must have:
● MD degree (or equivalent)
● Completed subspecialty training in Pediatrics and subspecialty training in Pediatric Cardiology
● >1 years of dedicated training in pediatric interventional cardiology
● Advanced training or experience in research

● Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
