The University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, in partnership with Alberta Health Services (AHS), invites applications from physicians trained or with experience in pediatric palliative care for locum positions within the Division of Pediatric Immunology, Hematology/Oncology, Palliative Care and Environmental Health (iHOPE) in the Department of Pediatrics and the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
This position is up to 1.0 FTE but may be divided into up to 4 x 0.25 FTE positions with clinical support to existing inpatient and outpatient pediatric palliative care consultation and service, as well as bedside educational activities (UME, PGME).

Qualifications
Interested applicants must have:
- MD degree (or equivalent)
- Completed subspecialty training in Pediatrics and have experience in pediatric palliative care
- Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) and hold appropriate liability coverage
Considered an asset:
- Certified or eligible to become a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Pediatric Palliative Care or Pediatric Hematology/Oncology).
