Locum Physician – Urgent Care - South Calgary Health Centre

Qualifications: 

Required Qualifications:
The successful applicant will:
•    Be certified in Family Medicine with the Canadian College of Family Physicians or certified in Emergency Medicine with the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians
•    Hold active licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
•    Have current medical liability insurance coverage
•    Demonstrate strong, clear communication skills including written, auditory, and verbal
•    Have greater than one year of experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting
•    Be certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Familiarity with information technology systems, such as Netcare, Connect Care, and PACS
•    Previous experience providing urgent or emergency care to pediatric patients
•    CCFP (EM) or FRCPC (EM) designation
