Medical Director Pediatric Burn and Wound Care Program

June 1, 2025 – May 31, 2030 (5 Years)
QUALIFICATIONS
This leadership position is open to current active members of the Section of Plastic Surgery, Department of Surgery, Calgary Zone AHS.
Deliverables
Program (AMHSP) and the University of Calgary as Geographic Full Time Academic Faculty. In agreement with Department of Clinical Neurosciences leadership, this faculty member reduced his AMHSP Individual Services Agreement Schedule “A” CARE research pillar by 15% to accommodate for the Burn Centre leadership activities.
Clinical:
The new recruit will use existing CLINIC, MINOR SURGERY and OPERATING ROOM resources. The recruit will be expected to have an academic
appointment with the Cumming School of Medicine. The candidate will have onsite office and administrative support at the FMC.
Management:
ABA verification would allow the CFBTC to develop a burn surgery fellowship program to expand the Department of Surgery educational opportunities and potentially recruit internal candidates to future faculty.
Education:
This faculty member is appointed to the Departments of Clinical Neurosciences and Surgery and has been supported by the Department of Clinical Neurosciences Academic Medicine Health Services
FTE and STIPEND
0.10 FTE Medical Affairs Honorarium $27,150.00 per annum
