Covenant Health invites applications for a Neurologist, based primarily at Grey Nuns Community Hospital, with secondary privileges at the University of Alberta Hospital.
This position holds a 1.0 FTE. This position will provide inpatient and outpatient general neurology services, with a focus on the Grey Nuns Stroke Program.
A Clinical Academic Colleague Appointment with FoMD, UofA, along with clinical teaching of both medical students and residents would be expected.
Required Qualifications:
MD or equivalent.
Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
Training in the field of stroke and stroke research.
Certification in Neurology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Expertise and commitment to quality care and patient safety.
Demonstrated commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) in the healthcare environment.
Understanding of Just Culture and its role in healthcare.
