The successful candidate will have medical and surgical experience and expertise in the identification, work up, and treatment of anterior and posterior segment uveitis including care of complex/advanced and urgent cases. He or she would be comfortable collaborating with other departments, such as Rheumatology, to help manage complex and resistant uveitis. The University of Alberta seeks a candidate with a proven track record of publication in peer reviewed journals. Research and clinical teaching experience is essential.
Applicants must be licensed in good standing, or eligible for licensure, with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA). Candidates will have completed a residency in ophthalmology and a one-year surgical and medical glaucoma fellowship.
