The community of High Prairie is currently looking to recruit an Ophthalmologist Visiting Specialist, to work alongside the local physicians and provide services in ophthalmology consults and procedures, with a focus on Cataracts. The ideal candidate will visit this community approximately 1-3 days per month, with approximately 10-25 cases per day of visiting.


This position will require the selected candidate to sign a Visiting Specialist contract rendering their services.
 

Qualifications
• Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
• Must be licensed to practice as an Ophthalmology Specialist per CPSA standards.
• Membership in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
 

Candidate must have hands-on experience offering ophthalmology services within the past 1-2 years.
Experience offering these services as a sole provider is required.
Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) to be included with application.
