Applications are invited for a Clinician-Scientist position in Radiation Oncology, Cross Cancer Institute (CCI), Edmonton and University of Alberta. The position will be cross appointed to the Division of Experimental Oncology, Department of Oncology, University of Alberta.
Applicants are invited to join a dynamic, interactive, and multi-disciplinary cancer research community actively engaged across the spectrum of cancer research-related activities from pre-clinicals models to clinical trials.
The successful candidate will devote approximately 60% of their time to research and will be expected to obtain funding from provincial and national agencies.
Laboratory and office space are available in the 40,000 square ft research wing of the CCI, with access to multi-user facilities, including confocal and live cell imaging, transmission electron microscopy, biobanking, small animal experimentation including animal holding and imaging facilities (small animal PET/CT, 9.4 T MRI, small-animal image-guided irradiation platform, bioluminescence imaging).
