Alberta Health Services – Edmonton Rural Corridor, and the community of St Paul are currently looking for an experienced physician to work alongside the local and surrounding area physicians, in providing periodic stress test readings. The ideal candidate will provide reading services virtually approximately 12 times per year (1 days per month).
This position may require the selected candidate to sign a Virtual Service Memorandum of Understanding, rendering their services.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Obtain and maintain an AHS Medical Staff Appointment and appropriate privileges to provide stress test reading services;
- Work collaboratively with peers and care team colleagues in support of patient care;
- Abide by the AHS Medical Staff Bylaws, the AHS Medical Staff Rules and AHS policies.
Qualifications:
- Current Alberta Practice Permit to practice in the advertised position (proof of to be included with application);
- Have certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification (RCPSC);
Recent and relevant experience in all areas of practice required, as Most Responsible Physician.
