The city of Ft. McMurray is currently looking to recruit a Visiting Specialist Ophthalmologist to provide services in Cataract consults and Surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will visit the community approximately 12 times per year (2-3 consecutive days each visit).
This position will require the selected candidate to sign a Visiting Specialist contract rendering their services.
Qualifications
· Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberts (CPSA) or proof of eligibility for Alberta licensure required (to be included with application)
· Must be licensed to practice as an Ophthalmologist as per CPSA standards
· Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
Candidate must have hands-on experience offering ophthalmology services within the past 1-2 years. Experience offering these services as a sole provider is required.
