The Department of Pediatrics (DoP), invite applicants to apply to this 1.0 FTE, AMHSP Locum position at the Alberta Children’s hospital, within Alberta Health Services, Calgary Zone, Section of Pediatric Endocrinology.
This position is a 1.0 FTE clinician locum position, with 80% clinical duties, and 20% educational duties. The successful candidate is expected to participate in outpatient clinics, in-patient care (mostly as consultant) and share calls equally with members of the division. The clinical work consists of outpatient clinics in both pediatric endocrinology and pediatric diabetes as well in-patient service coverage and on call coverage. On call coverage for evenings and weekends is shared equally between all members of the division. The successful candidate is expected to engage in trainee education, mainly bedside teaching for trainees rotating through the Endocrine service, as well small group teaching for the Endocrine subspeciality fellows.

The Candidate must have a Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology subspecialty certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
